  Fast, friendly service. No other McDonald's around until you get to Pleasant Hill, so I frequent this one quite a bit. Parking is a bit difficult but ample.

  The garlic fries I bought at the Concord McDonald's on Clayton Road were definitely better than the ones I picked up in Lafayette, but service was exceptionally friendly at the Lafayette drive-thru. Jason at the food window was very nice - I had to wait a couple minutes for the 4 Large orders of garlic fries, and he kept my company with light conversation. I expected the fries to be super hot since they were obviously making them fresh, and they were, but they were not very crispy like at other locations. Maybe they rushed a little since I was holding up the drive thru line? Co-workers said the same thing: good flavor, but not crispy enough. The 4 orders of garlic fries ($13.52) plus extra buffalo sauce ($0.39) unsweetened tea ($1) and 10 piece nugget ($4.59) did make my car smell pretty good for the rest of the day though!
  
  Drive thru line at lunch was pretty long, but it gets crowded inside too - don't come to this location in too much of a rush.
