  Overview: Food tasted good, but not great. Decent portions. Service helpful and friendly. Very costly menu items/extremely pricy for the quality.

  Food: I ordered a Dinner Combo box with mixed Tempura and tuna sashimi. The tuna was of average quality, but cut and prepared like a complete amateur level chef. Each slice was extremely thick, and served at ice cold temperatures, when tuna sashimi should have about half the thickness and served at about slightly below room temp so as maximize flavor. The tempura was good, though. Very large portion, only two shrimp, everything else was veggie. Otherwise very bog standard tempura. Combo came with miso soup, rice, and salad. Salad was decent, soup was standard, rice could have been better. Rice felt extremely rushed in its preparation, and the grains felt cheap.
  My partner ordered a spicy roll that featured tempura shrimp, tuna, and imitation crab meat. Roll tasted good (I tried three pieces)
  
  Price Point: Every menu item feels like it's 50% over costed. For the quality and quantity of food, it does not feel like we got our value.
  
  Atmosphere: The atmosphere was good. Restaurant was a kept relatively dim at 7pm, the time we arrived. Soothing vintage feel.
  
  Service: very curteous and friendly staff. Checked up on us several times, timely refilling of water. Order was prepared quickly.

  Nice small comfortable location with very nice service that made customers feel welcome. Two of the fried rolls we tried were excellent, especially the unagi sauce! They also have a massive selection of rolls to choose from, so plenty of options.
